Pan-African, Global South–rooted feminist and sexuality education.

A youth-led feminist ecosystem centering Global South realities. We build spaces for feminist learning, integrative sexuality education, and community for young people across Africa and the diaspora.

Feminist Education

We make feminist theory accessible, contextual, and rooted in Global South realities through learning spaces, dialogue, and public education.

Sexuality Education

Through our Sexuality Education Institute, we train culturally competent, trauma-informed educators equipped to work across diverse communities.

Community & Culture

We build feminist community through mentorship, book clubs, and Herlore Magazine—centering art, storytelling, and critical thought.

The Sexuality Education Institute

A virtual institute dedicated to culturally rooted, trauma-informed sexuality education, built for Global South and diaspora realities. We design practical learning pathways and culturally sensitive sex-ed toolkits (conversation guides, workshop frameworks, classroom-ready resources) that help educators and community leaders teach consent, relationships, safety, and wellbeing without shame.

We also run accessible public outreach for young adults programs and resource packs that meet people where they are and make sexuality education feel honest, empowering, and culturally grounded.

The CARA Framework

The CARA Framework is our practical audit-and-design tool for culturally rooted sexuality education. It helps schools, NGOs, and community programs assess what’s missing (policy, safety, curriculum fit, facilitator readiness, referral pathways) and then generate a clear, context-specific action plan: what to teach, how to teach it, and what support systems must exist around it.

It also guides our CARA Sex Educator Certification: trainees learn to apply the framework in real settings, produce toolkits and lesson guides, and deliver trauma-informed programs that are culturally aligned, measurable, and safe for the communities they serve.

The Feminist Code Book Club

The Feminist Code Book Club is a fun, vibrant virtual space where we read bold books by women and gender-expansive writers, then actually talk about them. Expect lively discussions, smart prompts, and that perfect mix of laughter and “wait, I never thought of it like that.”

We meet online to unpack themes like power, identity, desire, faith, family, and resistance. It is equal parts community and intellectual growth, with guided questions, thoughtful reflection, and space for real opinions. Come to read deeply, think sharply, and leave feeling held and expanded.

Mentorship/Fellowship

The Feminist Code Fellowship is a structured virtual cohort for women and gender-expansive people ready to grow through focused learning, community, and real deliverables. Fellows join a guided track across writing and media, leadership and social impact, sexuality education, with clear goals and measurable outcomes.

Each cohort includes curated sessions, peer accountability, practical resources, and a capstone-style project so your growth is visible, not just felt. It is supportive and fun, but still rigorous, designed for people who want to build, publish, launch, apply, or lead with clarity and confidence.
